I take it you watched the program on Showtime about cocaine and Olie North and crack? VERY interesting to say the least. kind of ironic that right after Clinton changes the penalties on crack and introduces mandatory minimums the federal and state prison systems for the most part became outsourced. over 60% of prison population is non violent drug offenders- but of course B-1 you know this as you have preached this since the origin of this forum. where is the outcry about publicly traded companies "collecting" 30-40k per year per prisoner. aren't there similarities to what Cheaney supposedly had going on with Haliburton? to some degree right? outsource prisons to public companies then change laws to lock up drug offenders for 10 year minimums
anyway- you would have to suggest there was definitely shadey stuff going on with Reagan and the whole contra thing. lot of smoking guns there.
on to The Wire- B-1 had very accurate predictions of what was going to happen. how is it that i was saddened to see Chris locked up for ever- as he was easily the most violent and deserving person of that sentence. how about old dude when he said- you just cost us 900. after method man got it
I am committing to going back and watching the complete series from season 1 and purchasing them to keep forever. they definitely didnt have a fade to black ending and they didnt have any problems not having a happy ending for everyone.
sucked to see dookie end up like that
i was not disappointed
