Saban is deeply philosophical. Spiritual and deeply philosophical people are one in the same. They both operate by some higher(literally or figuratively) plane than the average. I now can understand why it was said that Ricky and Nick was sit on his porch eating pizza while discussing Plato(for real).

Nick said this, and it somehow reminded me of Ricky because it also describes him.
It describes Michael Vick also. People for some reason refuse that Mike hit bottom and going to jail was the beginning of recovery. I don't care what people say about getting out early. Jail sucks, and going in under any condition is awful. Honestly, If I knew I was going to have my arm cut off. Why would I do it before getting to have a nice turkey dinner? That is asanine.
From the two quotes Nick stated in this article, he may be one too smart for football also.
