http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/dogwhisperer/video_preview_1.html
Have you seen that show? The one about that guy who goes and fixes everyone's dog problems. I have a few observations about that may be overlooked by the casual watcher. I have the strange feeling that the Dog Whisperer has not been to the hood and seen the pitbull section like my uncle used to have. Pitbull section meaning the fact that my uncle had something like 10 dogs compressed in his tiny back yard. His dogs seemed willing to attack on demand. I would like to see the dog whisperer with those poor hood dogs that get fed hot dogs and canned chili. I don't think those dogs can be whispered too. If you whisper to those dogs they'll think you're soft. I also noticed that people get punked by their dogs. I love dogs, and think their cool and everything, but I know for damn sure that I wouldn't hire a specialist to come get them to behave. My dogs should call be Parcells meaning if they slip up they get cut, straight up. I'm like corporate America in this case. I don't have time to develop my dog. It better know how to act from the get go like a damn contractor.

You on selling yourself short/Your gift
The fact that I think you sold yourself short in your college estimation doesn't mean you are not at your potential. I have a bias on how tight my friends are and think all of them are fundamentally more capable than what they thought for themselves. You haven't reached my potential for you, but you reached your own standard and that is the key. You didn't expect yourself to be where you are when you were younger. Now that you have gotten your feet wet, you should realize that you can grow forever if you chose to do and that potential is infinite. Opportunities are finite and that is why some people stop achieving, but growth can be forever. Since 2002 when I got derailed, I knew that I wouldn't surpass any personal expectations for a long long time. I may have reached my potential in the eyes of others but not for myself. I think your situation is the opposite. Big Mike respects the camp like Dolphas does you. He said, "Out of all of Tommy's friends, Trotter is the one that he can't get the best of, a little too smart and a little too serious". Verbatim from the Saint Mary's courtyard in 2002.
Dolphas also identified your gift. I don't think I ever told you about that conversation. He said that you had the ability to be yourself in all situations.
I thought it was just stubbornness, but this is different. Your credibility is built within this mechanism. You are what people think you are straight up. I am situationally dependent and the version you get from is determined by my surroundings. Plus I can't speak the way I do with homies at work or in professional situations so that behavior from me is impossible because my life is too much of a duality.
What was considerably impressive was when we went to the Raider game and you drove in player's parking section and you waved off the security guard like we were supposed to be in there. That was tight. The only discrepancy was that I had to duck in the back and stay hidden for that trick to work.

Big Media blew it
Update: http://www.charlotte.com/sports/story/387509.html
Here's a little bit of accountability. Even Time magazine did a negative piece.

Apparently, the event had nothing to do with Sean Taylor's past. Now what will media say? They can no longer place blame on him. I think some accountability is necessary. They metaphorically desecrated a man's grave. Will we see a new slew of articles addressing the 20 year old problem that society has chosen to ignore? I doubt it. We got to learn about each and every bad thing that Sean did in his life. Can we hear some good things about him by from Big Media? Where are you at Banks, King, Dohrman, Whitlock? All summer, Goodell wanted to eradicate guns from NFL players. Yet he does nothing for their safety. If they felt safe, they wouldn't need guns correct? Sean Taylor used to have pit bulls for protection in his affluent neighborhood. Why did he get rid of them? Because of everyone's obsession with Mike's dogfighting, people who used dogs for protection were seen as evil. I wish Sean had kept a gun in his house and those pit bulls in the yard. I hope the media will take the time to understand why athlete's do what they do, instead of condemn them in attempt to gain control. I am glad they found the killers. But America needs to recognize that athletes are targetted by the have-nots. People protecting themselves should not be viewed as evil especially when society has ignored the problem which causes that insecurity. President Bush has plenty of time to announce that Barry Bond's issue was a sad day in baseball, but hasn't said a word about the fact that Washington DC is the Homicide Capital of America. Sean was not targeted for murder, but his success was a target and his life was lost in the process. Maybe now he can be seen for what he is, a victim. RIP

Wow, a great article
You ever read slate or salon dot com. I like to read their stories because the writing is at a higher intelligence level. Their style is not for the weak minded an anyway. Nonetheless, here's an article about race dynamics with data to back up all points. You should read it, and compare it to what I have been saying. The key is how the points I've been making match these studies. Like the fact that after 9/11 black people got a break from being public enemy number 1. Now America is less threatened by Al Quaida, and black people are sliding out of grace again. I'm glad that this article reaffirms my philosophies. I mean even down to wealth generation. I was deadly on point man. The key is this. I am on these people's level even though I am not in thier field. I can instinctively recognize what it takes these fools polls and analysis to determine.

In year 3
It was during Christmas vacation when he said that I think. We were in the kitchen and he said, "For some people Son, Money always finds them. It sounds like Tommy is one of those people." My response, " Whatever, Tommy ain't Sh)t, quit jockin."
The surface is never scratched for anyone under 35. Simply too young.
The key is willingness after that age. Many aren't willing to try hard anymore or seek challenges.
I just know that my surface, rather scrated or not, will not be on display until about 2019 when I'm 45. That is when I'll be allowed to get into the game. I knew this after being an intern for a day. That is why I was upset during that time, because I was dealing with the pain of realizing my fate. The key is not getting too bitter or cynical before then. The purpose of skillset development is to stay sharper and harder than the average and to gain new perspectives and opportunties.
That is why there is the song called "Until the Day I become what I should be".
I asked my Dad about this exact topic. What do black men do to pass the time when wating for that "real" opportunity. Coach P was at the heart of the discussion. I asked my Dad how would someone older than me like Coach P deal with the situation because it has to piss him off more than me.
"He said he probably has a strong spiritual background because that is the only way I know how to deal with it"
Until then, f potential, it's all about actual. That is why I will always be overprotective of an athlete's potential because they are in a position to maximize if the world's circumstances don't defeat them first. Maximizing is the greatest gift gift of the earth.
My potential is to be a teacher, but in the most profound sense. A teacher whose student is the world, not an individual.

Business MAN
easily the best line ever-
potential- funny i was thinking of Dolphas comment earlier today- a profound moment that will not be forgotten
if you think i sold myself short in those days then to say i have reached mine now would not be accurate
i do not feel like the the surface has been scratched
it seems the more into this game you get the more you see
reason why i am making these comments is that i have yet to be challenged emotionally in this new arena- i actually desire some thing to come across my path
i will have to get back on you and yours at a later date

What you should have become
I think you are what you should have become. I think that is a blessing and I envy that.
I think you sold your self short in your college era success estimation of yourself. Dolphas saw it immediately.
I wish I had something more complex and interesting to say about it, but I don't.
You wanted to be a teacher/coach and maybe own a few properites. I think you have surpassed that by an insurmountable distance. I think you have reached your potential.

Will I reach my potential
I was taught to be corporate. The school district system is a corporation.
My tactics were designed for that environment. The issues lie with the type of coroporation. Old Money vs New Money corporations is my issue. The beauty of technology for me was that it was always new and innovative. Technology right now is about the old money machine like that on the East Coast.
To me, reaching one's potential and being successful are distinct entities. I have no doubt I will be successful or can do a job and make money doing so. This discussion is based upon reaching the situation where my individual stengths line up with financial outlook, meaning my pay is based on successes that I'm naturally inclined to have due to my skillset and background. In that enviroment, I can be maximum Jonathan and the more of me that I am the more successful I will be. I can't see that happening based upon something that I can control. I think the only way I can ever reach that state will be from an opportunity granted from another profound individual. The individual has to be profound because to recognize something to be greater or more than one's self mandates it. To vouch for someone requires a certain strength of character. The opportunity for me to reach my potential will come because someone vouches for me in the area of my mastery. When that happens or even if that happens won't be for quite a while. As long as I don't ruin or miss my opportunity because of haste, there is a chance that I can reach it. I am a pessimist by nature, and don't want to emotionally invest in something that I can't make happen if I don't have to. In the meantime, I will sit here and develop my skillset put myself in the best possible position for that to happen. The skillset development will give me the credibility to deviate from Corporate life. As a black man, that credibility is not free and someone will have to take a risk on me early, or wait until my credibility is so strong that they can hire come comfortably like that did with Dolphas as Superintendent. He reached his potential in his 60's because it was so obvious he was the one that to not select him would be just plain ignorant. I hope I don't have to wait that long, but that is my example and that is how patient I may have to be to get there.

LeBron's success secret part two
I would guess that LeBron's business savvy had something to do with the fact that went to a private Catholic school. I think it gave him access. In that Mike Vick atricle, wasn't there a portion dedicated to Baron Davis. He went to Santa Monica high school full or kids with successful parents. He got to learn the "patterns". It's too early for me to get into patterns, but this has to do with black kids that get a broad exposure of people early. He got to see success that stems from positivity. The pattern (coined by Dolphas) is that white children know as a young child that they are going to college. They may fart around an slack academically, but is pre-ordained that they are going to college. Black kids who don't hang out with white people rarely get to see it and don't feel that way growing up. I did, but Dolphas saw the patterns when he was young and he was a Superintendant. Going to a private school has allowed him see and live certain things. I remember after graduating college that the black students were so happy to graduate but didn't have a career clue. Most of the mainsteam kids knew what they were doing for work before finishing. This really disturbed me because it became apparent that the black students were behind in terms of career planning or being a professional or coroporate. This is why I get mad at the convervatives who think that everyone knows how to go get an education or how to create generational wealth.
The impact of slavery that is still felt today is the fact that African American's weren't given the ability to create wealth early. You can still do it now, but we are 5 generations behind and it's hard to find that type of guidance in our community.
If you take the crack damage and aids, you will see that we lost another 2 generations of wealth creation. I think America will become more and more wealth based over the next few generations and the only black one's who can participate will be the children of athletes and entertainers, not the smart people.

Children of the Law/ Whitlock=Reverand Ruckus
My homie Dew's father was a police man also.
Cops and Criminals go together Tommy.
The children of Police officers either become cops or they become criminals.
Cops and their children have such a inate understanding of crime and punishment that it's easy to slip on the other side. Similar to love and hate, cops and robbers are codependant. So Mr. Taylors above the Law persona may stem from that.
Pete who played football with us an even closer example for you. His father was a cop and so is his brother.
The new slang word that mainstream society has learned about and thinks they understand is "stop snitching". The mainsteam media always brings this up to make our behavior seem negative. Keep it real is one, and playing the race card is the best example. Once it became mainstream, black people get accused of playing the race card for everything. This is called killing a culture. When you alientate others for their tradition and norms it is called control. There will be a new black term soon that will be discovered and blacks will get accused of using it. That is really scary.
Boondocks a black comic strip that is also a cartoon.
The cartoon voice's are the dad from Friday and old girl from Boyz in Hood and Jerry Maguire. Reverend Ruckus and Whitlock provide the same essence to the world. Watch and you'll see what I mean. Reverend Rucks hates black people and hip hop.

Artist example
Listen to this song by JayZ called Ignorant Sh(t.
He says critics called him a great writer when he wrote songs like Big Pimpin or Give it Me. He says but when he write's something thought provoking they say he fell off.
Even he doesn't have full control and he is the president of Def Jam.
Jay-Z f. Beanie Sigel - Ignorant Sh*t | Hip Hop Singles > HipHopDX.com
This song got bad reviews because the critic was too stupid to see that it's a satire.

He isn't Ralph- I agree with that
you are pretty much dead on in what the article says- it isnt a whole lot different then things he has written in the past- why i threw out you knew it was coming
he may be fake or take the easy way out- but these knuckleheads ( not sean tay- the marburys ect) make his job easier then mine
he gets to re write the same column every 8 months
i think the artists get to have more of a say in what they are putting out then you are giving credit to
at the end of the day you dont have to be forced to do it-

Failure of Intent vs. Impact
He wrote exactly in the Whitlock style. I don't trust him. I wish I did. He is no Riley. Riley understood both perspectives. Whitlock doesn't and there is a difference. There is a problem with urban violence. This problem has existed for more than 20 years. The crack epidemic was the fuel because it allowed all of the guns to get into the hands of young black men in the drug game. This is the true result of the damage that the 90's caused. This is the aftermath. Whitlock is wrong straight up, but there is no other black writer who can challenge him. IN true Whitlock fashion, he announces the problem and then blames black people for it. That is why I don't like him. That is his style. He blamed black people for IMUS, yet it's the big non black run corporations that force musicians to make that kind of music. We are pawns, but get blamed like we are leading this. What Whitlock also fails to mention is that hip hop fantasy culture was created by some visual and realistic example. He will never address those examples. Intead of galvanizing the community to fix itself, he stands around the corner patronizing black people into action. Mainstream society loves to patronize into action. You see how everyone is using "keep it real" and a method to attack black people. They think they know black people now and understand keep it real.
Colin did well and owns a home in Houston. He also has other clients and can sustain his life regardless of his friend. Peter Falk(Jordan's agent) taught him.
If I got rich I would pay for Dumar to go school or buy him a business because he can run one. That is what I would do. Baron Davis did the same for his friends. White people hate the entourage Tommy. They will attack it anyway they can because they don't understand it.
Scoop by they way is another sensationalist and is on the opposite side of the fence as Jason. They are both wrong, actually. There is a happy medium between them both, but Jason's side of the fence is Corporate and thus it will be promoted.

Whitlock
I don't think he combines both of our thoughts. I will read this article after writing this because I hope he proves me wrong. I can't stand Whitlock. He is fake. He writes for sensation. He is a black man that says what white people want to hear. Wiley blasted Whitlock. He didn't like him. Whitlock takes the easy way out. He blames everything on hip hop. I'm getting tired of the act. White broadcasters have been talking about Whitlock's article the last few days.
He has an intent vs impact issue too. Let me read and we'll see if I'm wrong. He says that hip hop culture causes this. What he doesn't usually say is how the black family structure is destroyed. What he doesn't say is that crack desroyed that structure in the 90's. What he doesn't say is that those two thirds of young black males that were dead, in jail, or uneducated children have grown up. Maybe he gave a very conservative suggestion to address what I'm talking about, but he is conservative on purpose. That is why Fox hired him. Here's the one thing that upsets me about him. The radio stations, records companies, and the distributors are owned by white people. They control they amount of that filth that hits the steets. They are the one's that removed the consciousness of rap that existed in the 90's. Black people perform based on the directions of their musical leadership. Black people don't control radio content, they supply it based upon what the rich corporations tell them to do. Hip Hop wouldn't not have grown if it wasn't for Rick Rubin, not Russell Simmons.

Black KKK
You knew this was coming- i was actually waiting to read it
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7499442
in some strange way he combines both of our thoughts- or i have always thought that- perhaps it is him just being able to see it from both our angles and have the courage to write it
he is the anti scoop- and loved the article where he blew scoop up
funny thing is shortly thereafter i stopped seeing scoop on espn
wonder why whitlock has gone from KC paper to i want to say espn for a minute to AOL and now to Fox
think he is writing stuff people dont want to see?

Corporate vs NOT!!!
funny- as i am about to write this- ad for how to invest in hedge funds- classic
you realize that a lot of your negativity ( via experiences in the workplace) surrounding perception and efforts needed by you vs others ect is all based on the fact that your world is corporate
which i guess puts you in more of the minority- doing what you doing-dealing with what you dealing with with it being you
i long for the day that your genius is released to the world in an non corporate structure where you can act on your thoughts and ideas- and everything you do is in the subjective arena- including your success, future, and livelihood
wonder if we will ever see that
your mind would definitely be freed
i dont give the media or shows too much time in my world- it really is a sign of ignorance on my end. obviously one that i am ok with
as it is with politics- why get worked up and over think everything- when you cant control any of it
you realize that a lot of your negativity ( via experiences in the workplace) surrounding perception and efforts needed by you vs others ect is all based on the fact that your world is corporate
which i guess puts you in more of the minority- doing what you doing-dealing with what you dealing with with it being you
i long for the day that your genius is released to the world in an non corporate structure where you can act on your thoughts and ideas- and everything you do is in the subjective arena- including your success, future, and livelihood
wonder if we will ever see that
your mind would definitely be freed

The Apprentice
is what i was at 19- and what i am thankful for. it was access to a methodology that has served me well
i thought it was interesting listening to the deputy sec of the NBA and an executive of the 2nd largest area of Nike ( behind tiger of course) both give his boy Maverick props
this after reading articles from both black and white writers about how black athletes need to cut the hood off
are there more of these examples? how about whats his name - Colin right? he tagged along and is doing well correct?
maybe it depends on exactly where you came from- i dont think Lebron had foster parents- it was him and his mom. he may have had an influence somewhere perhaps
but lets use Sean Tay as an example- his dad is a police chief named pedro. how bad of a background did he come from?
maybe a knucklehead is a knucklehead regardless of any of these other things we have debated- not saying this is Sean Tay, but Vick perhaps.
Telfair- he looked up to Marbury- knucklehead knucklehead
Pac Man- just dont think he very smart- how many times man
Eddie Griffin- nba guy that drove into train drunk- knucklehead from beginning
not sure if i buy into the poor kids nothing growing up
- never had money now they got it and dont know how to act
there are whites and latinos in this category as well
but once again this goes back to the numbers
professional athletes is an awful test sample for these discussions
you and demar are an example of something as well-
does all of this just go back to parents- and having 2 of them- and having someone to guide you
maybe that is the root-
i have noticed the sponsors

LeBron's success secret
I know he was tight with Buffett. I read about last year or so. There is something big at play here. I am going to label these types of moments as when an illumination can occur. There is a reason why and it's really important to note. LeBron's foster parents were white weren't they? This is the reason why black folks can get rich, but there are only a few of us that are wealthy. Getting rich requires skill but getting wealthy requires planning. This type of planning is passed generation to generation and kids learn it from their parents and teach their kids. Black kids are not taught about the power of banking and investing by their parents. White kids are more likely have that kind of understanding. I'm talking about non poor people here, so I am not generalizing as bad. A classic example is you and me. You were in the game at 19 when Coral street was purchased. I just figured this crap out recently and would not have really understood if not by watching all of you guys. LeBron has that same type of mentoring. His foster parents should have known he was going to be rich and taught him what he needed to. I guarantee Telfair wasn't afforded this wealth managemet education. He can't even manage his life.

A letter to the Media
I'm am disturbed about the media. It is very scary how they operate. I'm glad you feel that way about them because the weak minded can't see it. I am not sure when the change happended or was it the fact that I'm able to recognize more with age. The media is now owned by the large infrastructure companies, and all of their stories support the general themes and thoughts of their editors and leadership. I think writers get told what to write about my nanagement, and will spin any story to meet those ends. I read the sports writers and they flip flop each and every week. They are looking for sensation nowadays so they will say anything to support the sensation they desire to generate. Disney, GE, Fox are all sending their personal messages through the media. Instead of informing the public of facts and allowing them to draw a conclusion, they inform the public of their conclusion and only provide facts that support them. That is what is disturbing to me. I read news from all over the world to find the common truth in all of them and create my own conclusion based upon that. I think it will get worse. Remember V for Vendetta. It was based upon a society where media ruled the world. Things are becoming eerily familiar in that regard. The mainstream media can affect the gullible and uninformed. The problem is that 80% of our country falls into that bucket. They get led by media.
Athletics, all aspects, is an arena for brothas to succeed. There is a reason why. The results are obvious in sports and therefore objective. Most other jobs are driven by subjective results. Except Sales!!!!!!! That is why there are so many athletes and bruh's that can find success there. Objective Results Man, straight up. Negative connotations, culture, stereotypes play a part in subjective evaluations, but not objective ones. This is a key factor right here. Dolphas and I spent a whole XMAS reviewing this concept.
Tomlin is real. His hairline gives him a prominent forehead. It has the same magic power as the jawline or chin depending on your point of view, hehe.
I read Wilbon's article before I wrote last night's comment. That is what set me off. I was mad at first until I reread it. I see what he is doing. He did the same thing Jamele Hill did for ESPN. She works for conservative Disney and Wilbon works for the conservative Post and they guide his writing topics. He failed in his attempt to deliver the message. He missed his target. He had an intent vs. impact problem. I dominated critical thinking and arguementative writing classes so I can see the literary tactics at play. He was setting up his point by recognizing the opposition's point of view. It allows your writing to be more powerful because you are refuting their reply in advance. A pre-emptive strike per se. He was saying that he isn't supriseed that young black man died early and probably at the hands of another young black man. He is saying that it happens so much below the surface(poor areas) that to see that crop up in mainstream society is not a suprise.

Main Stream Media
im not sure if there is any rhyme or reason to what they actually do. to me ( im not the right person to ask- our friend kenny pohl and wife lisa are- they actually react to what is on the news)
anyway- dont you ever get the feel that the media is biased on everything- as in depending on what channel you are watching arent you just being forced fed that biased information? i guess im not talking about the nationwide evening news- well actually yeah i think i am
i dont watch it- why? cuz if it is local news it is all bad news- deaths ect
if it is national news it is what has president done today, a biased and non reality take on the war, middle east ect
if it is an O'reilly or Jon Stewart then you know what you are getting there- just got to pick which side of fence you on
and then if it is something along the lines of a Today show- well then it to me has become basically a tabloid- not sure when it become so important to report what Brittany Spears did the night before- we must be laughed at for how these quote unquote celebrities have taken over how much air time on national TV and internet space?
i dont watch it-
however- is their a pre determined boilerplate of negativity for black folks? or is it more common for them to report negative doings of blacks vs whites?
im not sure- if you are famous- black or white it will monopolize the media's attention
do more black crimes get reported then white crimes? probably- especially when done to white person
i think the root of your issue is this- black on black crime, not a big deal- happens daily, goes under the radar- and i know you have opinions and previous arguments of why this happens- the actual crimes themselves, and how those people were potentially put into those situations to where it was inherent that crime would eventually unfold- and i think you are right
black on white crimes are a whole another subject- this is where the media portrays the outrage, the shock, and the circus begins
white on white? unless it is a husband and pregnant wife or someone famous it gets mentioned but not portrayed in the same manner
2 other things- i heard what tomlin said- thought of you- (btw wouldnt he be an example of a non athlete reaching and fulfilling his potential?)- (btw #2 that dude is you) ( btw #3- did you see his hairline on forehead? go back and look- it is crazy- it makes either his forehead or hair look fake- weird) and of course what he said made sense
other thing- you see Wilborns comments?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/27/AR2007112702680.html
I wasn't surprised in the least when I heard the news Monday morning that Sean Taylor had been shot in his home by an intruder. Angry? Yes. Surprised? Not even a little

Go back and re-read, football version of Len Bias
I made another change that is more insightful. I made it after your response.
That is what sucks. This is like a football Len Bias. Boston Celtics justs recovered from that this year. On a side note, our sponsors are getting tighter.
The whip has died. I need to acquire another one this week. Know of any deals?

Wow
where to start- the easy stuff- Google is going to change the world as we know it- not like microsoft stealing some code and force feeding it down everyones throat. but really change the way things are done
it is alredy happening- best part? look who they are going after
AT&T
Verizon
Microsoft
now energy as well
it is cool to see technology when used properly with huge goals go out and attempt to change- very intrigued to see how successful they are in this quest
talked to you boy Utah- skins fan from DC last night- " not a very good day, ive been angry all day"
personally- i feel cheated- as if i was Jake and his fire truck was taken away
we are not going to get to see him play again- or see what his potential was- and how far he got
u said only athletes and Denzel get the chance to reach their potential- that is great
curious as to why you feel you wont reach yours? and what you think yours is to be if it isnt reachable?
answer that as i get on to the other issues- think i need to do this under the influence aswell

I'm not done with this
I'm still mad about this whole ordeal. I have had damn near a bottle of vino and had to get back to this. I watched the press conference with Gibbs and Snyder. I was glad to hear that Joe said that he wanted everyone to know first and foremost that Sean spent a lot of time with the team chaplain the last two years as well as had attended every chapel session. He said Sean had relationship with the Lord and has gone home. I find peace in that. He went to better place. I'm really glad the white people spoke so highly of him. Once one says something positive about a brotha it becomes magically easier for others to recognize. The one who first speaks out usually someone more special than not. You actually play that role for me(which I appreciate by the way), kinda like my white talisman taking me accross the lake.
Clinton Portis said this in this article. He will probably get about 46 carries this week by the way just for yo ass Fat Polz.
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7490604
"You think back to how much heat he took for everything," running back Clinton Portis said. "For missing camp, for not being around for this or that, for missing the rookie symposium. You come to the realization that all of that means nothing."
Listen to what Tomlin said.

It's neat to see that once Joe Gibbs said that, the black boilerplate started disappearing. He started to receive Jared Allen level treatment instead(Sorry, I had to mention that!) You would hope that America took this opportunity to look into the black on black crime issue. The sad part is that Washington DC is the death capital(highest murder rate) as well as America's epicenter.
Here's another point for you to think about. How many white individuals have been snatched away at their prime besides Elvis and James Dean? Ooh yeah, and dude from the Doors and that broad with the eating disorder. How many bruhs have had a career ended, a threatening court case, or murdered around their prime. It really bothers me that black people don't reach their potential as often. Actually, black people rarely get to reach their potential besides pro athletes and Denzel. Black people don't get put in positions in corporate America beyond our skill set ever. White people do, but black people have to be extra qualified. I don't know if I would have gotten a job in engineering if I didn't play football. Do you know how hard it was to get through that stuff. Now I may have made it seem not that difficult, but in reality that ish(Non curse-word version of sh^t for future reference) damn near defeated me. I had to do more to be average. That is where Donovan's comments came from bye the way. All of our parents taught us that. So it really hurts me personally when I see one that can reach maximum efficiency in their craft get defeated because I guarantee I'll never reach mine. The reason why I don't give up on some so called bad people is because I believe in growth and learning. A leopard can't change it stripes, but it can grow older and wiser and hunt more effectively. People don't change, but they can grow and learn under the right circumstances. Trotter is a family of teachers and educators. I believe in growth, learning and the generation of opportunity. If those don't exist then neither does the camp. This is why I am pissed off because death was required for this to become known. Think of all of the other aspects that can be learned but won't be until someone else dies.
Black Boilerplate treatment of Sean Taylor
Go to google news and search Jared Allen.
I see redemption stories about him.
I see how he changed his life blah blah. This is from a month ago and their is no boilerplate. http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=&q=jared+allen&ie=UTF-8
Nah, it's racial. Racial things are subtle and simple. You should see the way the European media covers this. Where does their stereotype of black people come from. Could it be perhaps the boilerplate?
Honestly, if the redskins contigent(Gibbs, Snyder, Cerratto, Williams) would not have spoke so highly of him, the media would be insulting him instead of saying he was unknown.
ESPN changed their coverage style after seeing the response. They started negative thinking they could impact his image but they got blasted.
God Bless the Dead! You never talk negative about someone in their grave. For that one moment you respect them and reflect on their greatness because that is what their life is summed up by. I don't care if that was their job or not to write that bullsh*t. Integrity transcends that.
It's easier to express one's self in death more than in life.
The truth gets to come out. They will never find the killer. The killer will get justice soon, but the police won't be involved unfortunately.
I am going to search more infamous non black folks and see if they get the boilerplate treatment. That is a new addition to the vernacular.
Everytime Atlanta is mentioned, so is Michael Vick. Still.
I don't see spent time in a federal pen for Martha Stewart every time her rich self does something. I will now confidently call it the black boilerplate treatment.
I will monitor this aspect going forward and will let the numbers prove it out.

Googled
First of all, I'm pissed the F#$K off and probably sensitive as a result.
Huston Nutt is a G for pulling that off.
I'm a big fan of leaving with some cash and getting a raise in the same market space.
I know you are too.
How bad is Tank Johnson now?
I would say smart.
I hope America learns why rich black people still carry guns or fix the root cause of problem.
They will never fix the problem though, so I guess they should leave the gun toters alone. Violence occurs every day in poverty land, but it takes something like this for people to spend the time to care. Once again, here's an example of why the race card will be played for at least your child's whole life. I heard my coworker today telling another coworker about what he learned about the ghetto after reading a John Grisham-like novel. The other coworker chimed in his two cents about prison gangs and how they are similar. I wanted to slap both of them for being ignorant.

They attack the old money infrstructure better than any tech company that I've seen. They are buying a piece of the cell phone bandwidth which can punish ATT and maybe even reach the Cable companies.
Now they are going after energy.
If they get some form a public transportation and water they would be complete.
They will go after banking next. There are a few peer to peer banks gaining momentum.
Jim Johnson doesn't get credit because he let go of Trotter and got Kearsed. They had a few years of sorry defense up until Lito Sheppard matured.
ESPN sucks and can burn up. I'm really mad right now still.
I said Jared Allen was all camptrotter so I don't think they should write about him like that either. He is ghetto too. Poor people that don't interview well may be the ones who are victims of the negative boiler plate. MOSS and TO didn't do what Jared Allen did. He made two mistakes. Not everyone get's a second chance though.
This is a circular argument. We can both be right and both be wrong. I just wanted your opinion. It could be simply the numbers. One thing I will say is that I can find data that discusses the media portrayals of black people and how disproportionate it is in tems of stories per population segment. So they may be reporting on black people in sports because of the majority. They also do that in mainstream media and we are only 10% of the US population. I'll give you the fact the football and hoops are a black majority, but please explain the mainstream media's reasoning.

the Gods of Madden?
dude they made the game that way- why all of the crazy stuff starts happening when you getting blown out-
i had given up hope- now im back in it
why doesnt Jim Johnson get a co- crown along with Monte? seriously? they give him props on game days- but not the overwhelming genius status of monte
i hate the eagles but think that is wrong
Ole Miss off the board for D Brown-
u do have to love this though- Arkansas gave Nutt 3.1 million to go away- next day lands another SEC job that while they may be down- have a TON of talent- low expectations cuz they Ole Miss but the cupboards are full
that is good stuff

Sales Tax
I am not 100% sure on this but Al davis may have something to do with why Alameda County is so high. i could be wrong
I am more interested in if this case ever gets solved. Like the ray lewis double murder- this will be very interesting
is there going to be daily updates on the investigation? or will it be back of the paper news in 3 days?
white people kill their pregnant wives and it turns into borderline tabloid circus.
ray lewis friends kill 2 people and nobody ever pays for it
regarding the negative boilerplate statement in front of the news-
2 things
they DID do what they are reporting what they did- fair or not
and i think they do it with white people too- i dont recall hearing anything about Jared Allen from the Chiefs without them mentioning his 6 DUIs
as i do understand where you are coming from i dont think you will ever win this argument- reason being are the #s are against you- due to the fact that the NBA and NFL (which seams to be the majority of the sample) are majority black
so when they do say these things it is tough to compare them to white folks- or make the comment do they do it to white athletes
why couldnt this have been Pacman instead?

He would be good in a 3-4 environment.

I told you that you would win once you've abandoned hope.
We switched luck styles.
You're luck is typically proactive, that is why your a good gambler.
My luck is magical, meaning I get lucky once I've given up and have lost faith.
You can ask Sheem about it. I used to call it "Going to the Gods" when we played Madden. If I started saying things like, "you're better than me today" or "my team is bad", or "you are going to win", I would beat him. He used to recognize when I was about to go to them and try to interfere.

Stuff
This article sums up my statement right now.
It's not a good time for black people right now.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hill/071127
What pisses me off is the boilerplate they give Taylor.
Every time they mention something about him, they reference his prior indescretions.
Do they do this to white players too? I'm serious. Same story for TO, Moss, Vick, Ricky. They attach a boilerplate negative stigma to the person every time they mention them.
The economy is garbage and poor people typically start to act up. The next 5 years are going to be worse.
Here's one for you. Why is the Alameda County Sales Tax 8.75 percent. That is the poorest county in Northern California. That is infrastructure racism. Sales Tax is the most unfair tax, but it's funny who has to pay the most. The region with the lowest income makes perfect sense.
Young Black Males are still an endangered species. They have too look out for rich white people, old black people, and poor young black people. That is a triple threat. The children of the crack epidemic have grown up and they have plenty of havoc to wreak in the near future.
At least he played the last play like his last, a 15 yard personal foul facemask call.
RIP Mr. Taylor

Coma
not looking good for Sean Tay- in coma fearful of brain damage
D Brown in ATL would be good for him- id prefer Ole Miss or LSU so he can have some stability
Orgeron is a pimp dude- he like Zook- he has the gift
Tubberville and Auburn is a weird deal as well- they both always looking over the fence
what if Spurrier went to LSU? they have sick talent- not sure why they dont use it better though
you see the 5 game winning streak im on? got you this weekend

Gtech was a shot in the dark
I just thought it would be cool for him to live in the ATL.
Nutt's relatinship with Arkansas was estranged to say the lest.
Same thing goes for that guy in Auburn. He is borderline estranged too.
How good of a recruitor is Carrol's boy? They need him and Kiffin back.
The smaller schools have greeat Stength and Nutrition programs but their players are bought into whatever system they run.
LSU may go back and pluck Jimbo from FSU. He is probably tired of having no QB and he can coach Perriloux or however spelled.

Recruiting
LSU im thinking may keep it in house- if jumbo fischer hadnt left id say it was his to lose
Nutt just got fired- weird relationship they had over the years
i agree on Ole Miss- bet the SC cat is back with Pete within weeks- fool is a recruiting magician
GA Tech? i dont think so- that is a weird one though

Ole Miss?
Miles is a Shembechler true blue blood. The key is will LSU want to bring in someone flashy or keep the status quo. They have tons of good players over there.
On that list, I'm thinking Ole Miss is the 3rd option. They hired away USC D coordinator and he faltered, so I would think they would not repeat the same sequence.
Francoine was made by LT, simply. Nutt is a nut, but he always keeps it interesting. D Brown could end up at G tech.

Lloyd was the answer?
u kidding? he sucks
why didnt they go get Chambers?
u realize that the Pats have the niners #1 next year- top 5 pick
what if Dorsey played on that D line?
top 5 picks next year?
Dorsey
McFadden
QB? prob not Brohm anymore- woodson?
some tackle we never heard of
??
kentucky-tenn was a great game
pac 10 sucks- good job oregon

Where Shall He Fall???
Pelini is interviewing for the Nebraska job right now- bad news is so is Turner Gill- love that guy by the way
im thinking Callahan screwed things up so bad that Gill may have the slight edge here- he is a hero- bring back the offense ect
Pelini on the other hand will bring a def presence back that if you hadnt noticed is sorely missing- keep in mind that nebraska didnt get over the hump of the Fla schools- ie Jimmy Johnson and FSU speed in the late 80s and 90s until they switched up the D- lbs are now d line- safeties now LBs and lets go recruit this LA place for our corners
Pelini should get a shot at the Ole Miss job and an interview with LSU WHEN Miles leaves- i think he gone
could you imagine if D Brown is on the staff at LSU- or Ole Miss
WOW
by the way- Houston Nutt is crazy- Franchoine is a fraud- hate that guy

I would bet on it
It was she who shot him. She called the ambulance, but there is no evidence of robbery. He needs to leave the Miami girls alone. It's the poorest big city in the country and beyond ghetto in some areas. Ice cube told you about back in the 90's wiht "How to Survive" from the Boyz in the Hood soundrack.
There will be some DC housecleaning. They just reaffirmed Gibbs. They have been decimated by injury and are still competitive. They need to execute at a higher level. The receivers suck. They need at least 1 quality young possession guy. Lloyd was the key.
DBrown is going to Nebraska or LSU if things go well.
Who knows, I told him that this was his year and to be ready.

End of McNabb Era
not sure if any other athlete has been hated and loved as much as this guy- he is done in Philly- he will be playing for the Bears or someone next year. from draft day thru 2 weeks ago he has been a magnet for criticism- fair and not- they wanted Rickey on draft day- while they should have been happy they didnt end up with Couch or Akili
Gocong finally got to do what he knows how to do- until they went 4-5 receivers and like you said got him out of the game
Jason Cambell has killed the skins the last 3 weeks- santana and portis havnet helped
there will be a house cleaning in DC this offseason-
Gibbs gone
Santana- gone
portis quite possibly gone
hoopefully cambell has grown and is learning from this
dude- dont be surprised if it comes out that Sean Tays old girl shot him in his stuff
how you get robbed with all of your people in the house?
next post- the future employment possibilities of one David Brown II

Crown em.......hold up!
They are beatable by the way. Arizona would match up well with them. Cleveland will match up well with them. They still play Blitzburg who physical enough as well. Did you see how they used Gocong? New Enlgand changed the formations to get him out of game. I'm serious. He was the wildcard. Jacksonville can match up also. They have one of the best offenses I've seen in a while, but they aren't as good as the Cowboys teams.
I had written Marvin off, but he is starting to look like Wayne Fontes.
He is preaching that they can run the table, and it looks like they believe. Chad his mouthpiece is preaching the same rhetoric. They missed Rudi Johnson.

Being Black is dangerous-Poor Sean Taylor
That is all bad
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/
I hope he didn't get hit it any football essential location.
He got hit in the leg's big artery based upon my scientific reasoning.
They said he got hit in the groin area and bled a lot. There is a huge artery in each thigh and severing it can kill you. It answers the question of how people die when shot in the leg.
Another athletic prodigy may get derailed before reaching their maximum.
The reason why black people don't go skydiving or bungie jumping is because for us chillin at the house is dangerous. We may not make it back home after leaving work so why would we do something extra dangerous.
This is also why, dogs are not family members to black people. Dogs are animals and they are sport. Our lives our tough enough, let alone do we have time to give a damn animal a good life like dress it up in sweaters and give it its own furniture.'
This is also why rich black people may carry guns. The show Cribs just allowed criminals to case the black celebritie's houses in advance. Yet everyone is shocked that some may carry weapons. Yet they don't know what is feels like to be in peril every minute of their existence.

No wonder Ricky and Saban got along
Saban is deeply philosophical. Spiritual and deeply philosophical people are one in the same. They both operate by some higher(literally or figuratively) plane than the average. I now can understand why it was said that Ricky and Nick was sit on his porch eating pizza while discussing Plato(for real).
"They talk about alcoholics and people like that who never ever change until they hit rock bottom," Saban said. "Well, they change because when they hit rock bottom they have an awareness, they have an acceptance and a commitment to change"
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3120600
Nick said this, and it somehow reminded me of Ricky because it also describes him.
It describes Michael Vick also. People for some reason refuse that Mike hit bottom and going to jail was the beginning of recovery. I don't care what people say about getting out early. Jail sucks, and going in under any condition is awful. Honestly, If I knew I was going to have my arm cut off. Why would I do it before getting to have a nice turkey dinner? That is asanine.
From the two quotes Nick stated in this article, he may be one too smart for football also.

The llama cometh
He looked at me and I saw a sparkle of recognition. He was at a different register. No conversation occurred. I just recognized him and walked slow to the exit in case he would try to engage. He was a good launching pad and gave a lot of you guys career starts. Hate em if you want, but he was a benefactor before he turned hater.
Snake said the baby was getting too big and needed to exit sooner rather than later. Now it's time for the rest of the Carlsbad crowd to double up.
I didn't give a damn thing to Manning. I can't stand him. I like Brady because I met his sister at the club his rookie year. She lived in Richmond. You know they are ghetto right? She lived in the hard part of Richmond. His little niece is named something ethnic like LaShay or something.
I like Indy because of Dungy, Freeney, and Sanders. Don't get it twisted. I like Brady far more than Payton. This is about Randy Moss though. Brady has been my fantasy QB for the past 5 years ok.? He has always been inconsistent. Good week or bad week based upon match up. He now has a perfect assortment of weapons. The weapons are what allow him to be this way.
Without the weapons the QB can be special but not profound. Manning without Marvin is way different too. Record breaking seasons require Randy Moss. Superbowl seasons don't, but what is happening now is because of Randy. Welker may not be tough enough to last the whole season. He is doing more in these 11 weeks than his whole career. I think he is playing out of his body and can only do that for so long. Without Faulk, Warner would have good, but not how he was.
I alway respect thouse in situations that do what I couldn't do or what I would struggle to do.
Regardless of what got them in that situation. That is why I said he was a man for doing so beccause I wouldn't do the same.
Honestly, I hope he never plays again. I don't think he needs to prove anything else to anyone on any level. It was fun while he was here, but we don't deserve to ever see what he can be.

Caveman reproducing- and the Llama
cave baby #2 in route- any hour
you saw the llama last night? did you engage or run other way? awful twisted person that guy
how much was it kiffin last year vs Sark? interesting now- SC offense is awful for one sole reason- Patrick Turner. it was his time to be the man and be the go to and he cant catch. period
killing them as an offense
If you want to give Peyton all of that credit over years past then you have to give it to Brady now. he doesnt even break a sweat. it is good to see Moss again- always liked him. like this even better since as you pointed out with daunte- he has grown. it isnt just run deep and go get it- even though he does have a few of them this year
i hear you on choosing your path- be it happiness or quicker route to end of a term
what is the point of waiting around for sentencing? just means longer til he can play again

3 black 300 yarders
When is the last time you saw three bruh's throw for 300 yards each in a week?
Never.
Dante, Jason, Vince.
I'm really impressed with Lane Kiffin. He is teaching Dante and forcing him to study up. Dante never had a coach make him improve. Lane has broken him down and is building him up. He is having to learn the passing game instead of throwing deep to Randy and scrambling. Randy and TO are 1 and 2 respectively on my MVP list straight up. Brady is good, but we're seeing Moss do this. He is why they call Billick a genius. Moss got hit too hard on that one pass by Kerry Collins on the Raiders. That hit ruined his whole 2 years there.

Irony
Forget the comments, Man. Respond by writing a new post. Each post will be our running dialogue.
What is Ironic is that he achieved true freedom by going to jail. He made a choice to lose his freedom instead of having it taken.
Why did you trade for Steven Jackson in fantasy? Same point, but you don't want to feel it.
You had the freedom to pursue your happiness. Mike excercized that freedom and went straight to jail.
Barry isn't likable but he is smart. Since he is black that causes a faulure. If he wasn't black, all he would have to be is either smart or likable but not both. That is why Bill Clinton was ok because he was both smart and likable. If he wasn't both he would have been doomed because he is black too. That is why race is involved. That is why I wrote all of that phychological stuff because race does matter.

Michael Vick went to jail early
And now he became a Man.
He took back control over his life instead of sitting back and letting others dictate.
He acheived pure freedom by deciding to go to jail. Beautiful Irony!

America finally posted Bonds
Once again, America is reigning in it's black athletes. I don't care if Bonds did steroids or not because everyone in baseball did it. Did race play a factor? Yes, because race always plays a factor. Racism is subconscious. If people were smart enough to know their actions were racist they would stop right away. If you don't believe me, you should read this article about how different races react to racism. The article is on WebMD so don't try to discredit their work.
http://www.webmd.com/brain/news/20070921/subtle-racism-harasses-brain?src=RSS_PUBLIC
African Americans react to subtle forms of racism such as, " you don't talk black". Other people react to the obvious things. Why? African Americans have been dealing with covert racism our whole lives and we are taught by our parents how to deal with it. That is why Donovan McNabb said that. For us to be viewed as average, black people have to be superior. He said that so calm because it is a value he has had for his whole life. Most non-black people are blind to subtleties. What is racist is the depth and level of the pursuit of Barry. High ranking black people that fall from grace are always publicized. It almost feels like America likes to show us black people failing so that blacks no longer try to ascend. Slavery made reading illegal. When black people say that the man is keeping them down it is because of this concept. That is systemic racism. Remember Edward Scissorhands? He was accepted as long as he was making everything pretty. Once he dated the daughter or scared the people they destroyed him. Edward Scissorhands was a black dude. That is why he was dressed in all black. They used a literary analogy to show this. Remember the Green Mile? The gave the black dude magic powers because white people would not have believed that he could be innocent otherwise. They call that character the "magic negro". The magic negro's job is to teach white people. He has to be magical because his blackness ruins his credibility and the only way people will care from him is because he has magic powers(or is a good athlete). We can't be credible on our own.
I wrote a book here, but what do you think about the Bonds situation?

Ricky is back in the game
First of all, where are you man? Did you drink too much sweet tea in Georgia? Are you getting old and can't hold your liquor like you used to or see too many magic cities.
Why I like Ricky Williams can be defined at the end. He is a deeply thoughtful individual and he underscored the difference in playing football and in being an NFL football player. I remember when one of my coaches called me too smart to play football. What he meant was that I was smart enough to recognize the head games and posturing, and getting me to buy in required entitlement as oppossed to blind following. If the leader is profound, then blind following is ok. Not too many of us get the priviledge of having a profound leader, thus the behaviors associated with me being too smart were bound to show up on occasion, like when I told a position coach that all he needs to do is direct us. Many people were shocked that I can say something like that, but in reality they could not grasp what I meant. That coach just regurgitated what he was told and was not capable of teaching us. Since he couldn't teach, what else could he do besides direct us because he didn't know the principles behind his calls. A dissenter I was, no. I was more likely a realistic person aware of his leadership situation. Rickly walked out on Wannedstadt. I know why, but a lot of other people don't have the capacity and depth to understand his decision making process. Most Americans are lazy and stupid and won't take the time to learn such things unless there is a tragedy or something similar happens that personally affects them. Racism is one of those things that lazy people won't learn until the day they get the priviledge of sitting in someone else's shoes. I say priviledge because to be educated by life is a gift. Football players are in a difficult situation. Because of Fantasy sports, they get more media coverage than actors. The only thing is that actors like that have their free will and can do what they want. A football players makes in their life time what an actor can make in one movie. As a result, they are always accountable and always leveraged. Any action that a man takes in order to be to make his own decisions and to pursue happiness is an action that I appreciate. He is the first football player to pursue happiness despite being owned. Being someone that was called too smart to play football, I can truly relate. Can't you Robert Smith and Tiki Barber?

"I hated being a football player before," Williams said. "Someone asked me a question. They said, 'Do you like playing football?' I thought about it and I thought about it and I thought about it. And the next day, I was doing this exercise and I was writing down my ideal paradise moment. And when I really thought about it, it was playing football. I realized that I love to play football and I love to be on the field. But I hated being a football player."

Week 10 thoughts
The Redskins will probably go after Fanece this year. They need a dominate O-line in order to close games out. They don't have the ability to wear a team out physically and it's affecting them.
John Beason is tight. Carolina won't miss Dan Morgan
Aaron Brooks is getting another tryout!
Cromartie stepped out of his cocoon
Big Ben reminds me of the Dante Culpepper with Randy Moss
Raiders aren't playing Dante because of his incentive clauses
Cleveland didn't run enough at the end of the game. They are young and must learn that you have to run to win unless you have Brady or Manning as your QB.
Green Bay found their first frozen tundra runner since Dorsey Levens
Too many players are getting hurt this year
I still don't like Goodell
Ricky is back. Haha!
Haynesworth didn't play on Sunday for Tennessee and look what happened
Jason Campbell needs Bernard Berrian to throw deep to
David Gerrard and Quinn Gray seem like the same person to me
John Beck is not going to help Miami
Alex Smith may not recover, ever

The W- mid season Fantasy report
the preseason concern for fantasy this year was the dreaded 2 back systems being deployed by numerous NFL teams- the issue? it never materialized.
what has happened to the NFL RB?
where have you gone:
frank gore
steven jackson
rudi johnson
maurice jones drew
cadilac
clinton portis
larry johnson
the list can go on
is it that some much emphasis is now spent on fantasy football that these issues are well known?
or is it just a very very very strange fantasy football season
or does it not matter?
draft boards across the nation or upside down with the only winners those who drafted Brady and Moss
weird
off to athens georgia- via buckhead thur night
will report on the findings

Week 9 thoughts
To see Chad Johnson on a stretcher completely surrounded and loved by members of both teams shows how much respect Chad has throughout the league. He is one of the most loved players in the game and he almost enjoys playing as much as Brett Favre.
Adrian Peterson is doing in his rookie season the same thing he did as a freshman in college. In his first 6 games he has around 1100 yards, 8 TDs, averaging over 6 yards a carry. He is averaging more yards per carry now as a pro compated to then(6.6 vs 6.1). He is a manchild. Young McFadden may be as a better athlete, but Peterson is a better runner.
Running Backs who sat out of training camp started slow. Take a note of this coaches because RBs unlike other positions need to get in synch with their O'line and that takes time straight up.
Baltimore and St Louis are learning what life is like with a Dominant Hall of Fame LT. Ogden and Pace are done for the year and their QBs have the injuries to prove it. Losing a critical O-lineman can ruin a season(ask Seattle).
Patriots will lose. Not now, but in December when the weather impacts the passing game. New England can be stopped if one of the 3 receivers get hurt. New England also can be run on. The Giants, a trip to BMORE, or the Steel Men may be able to stop them. Indy played without 4 starters and should have one.
Portis finally showed up. Please see the 3rd point for further clarification. Washington DC should always lean on Clinton.
Antonio Cromartie finally showed why he was picked in the first round without playing a down in college the year before. He has some dominant traits and can score.
Charles Woodson came back to the party. He finally got over his toe injury and playing for the Raiders.
Culpepper was not the cause of the Raiders struggles. He gave them chances to win and that's all you can ask for. McCown and the rookie won't. On that note, what happened to Aaron Brooks. Why did he get blackballed? It's quite obvious that it wasn't his fault last year. He is a former pro bowler, but teams will pick up Testaverde or Dilfer first. That is BS, and may be racial.
SF missed Norv and Antonio Bryant. The latter may have some issues both chemcial and personal, but he was a needed deep threat. I've learned recently how critical the deep threat is to a running back. Without one, SF can't run the ball against 8 men in the box.
The NFC EAST is back.
Lee Evans doesn't work out in the offseason. For the past two years, he sucked the first few weeks then blew up. Same story this year, different chapter.
Bobby Petrino is stubborn, but in a good way. It's very hard not to feel his will and determination. I think he will get Atlanta back to solidarity. It make take 5 years, but one day he will overcome.
Haynesworth had 3 sacks. He is dominant like I said before and is the defensive player of the year.
TO and MOSS are back. A middle finger goes to all of the haters.
Reggie Bush can be a featured back and New Orleans weathered the storm.
Where art thou Romeo? In the lockeroom chillin and happy that Cleveland has a real quartback since the expansion team began on the Couch. Welcome to the party Romeo, you are legit. You can take Marvin's place because he has taken a step downwards.
Winslow the soldier emerged with 11 catches for a buck and a quarter. It's about time he gets some spoils.

When will they learn?????
why dont the Bruins Hire Pat Hill? if there is any school that needs his style, way of playing it is the Bruins. personally i hope they got 6-6 every year for ever.
it makes a lot of sense to me.

Our Dub Midseason review
Here's my list of some award winners:
Tightest Rookie offensively is Adrian Peterson. Why? Because he got screwed as a freshman and should have won the heisman then. He was a grown man at age 17.5 before college. He is Eric Dickerson junior, with stiffer hips but more overall twitch.
Young Defensive Hog award goes to Patrick Willis of the Niners. I have been forced to watch him due to the location of my home base. He is playing better than Urlacher(not as a rookie, but right "arthritis" now.
Albert Haynesworth- After having football snatched away from last year for stomping Gurode and being in a contract year has fully motivated this talented young man. The biggest knock on him throughout his college days Volunteering was that he was lazy. As you can see, when he is not lazy he is dominant. He is the reason why the Titans are in the hunt. He stops the run, covers up the lightweight backer Thornton and frees up the Vanden botch dude to get sacks.
Aaron Kampmann, The bull rusher extraorinaire specialized in putting offensive tackles in their quarterback's lap. He singlehandedly destroyed the Redskins in their victory with 3 sacks and 2 Offenstive tackle injuries.
Sean Taylor- Why? He has evolved beyond cornrows, is leading the NFL in picks, and wears the Jack Tatum style of hair cut.
Bob Sanders- He somehow has made Indy's defense even better than last year. He didn't do it, actually Indy did a rope-a-dope on the world. Hayden and Jackson, last year's rookies, were actually better than the veterans in front of them, so they upgraded by letting the free agents go. Either way, Sanders is a beast.
Tom Brady- Winner of the I get to throw to randy Moss Award. He is having a better year than when Manning won the MVP.
New England O-line- This is a unit that is playing perfectly. They provide enough protection to run a play fake on a draw play. They have mastered the lateral aspect of zone blocking combined with the angles and precision of vertical trap blocking. The only other teams that do that are Indy, Boise State, the Giants. I think a special line is required for that.
Brett Favre- Because he can make throws other humans simply can't make.
Herm Edwards- Did you see how bad Kansas City looked on HBO? They couldn't even drink water correctly let alone win a game.
Plaxico Burress has reached his peak performance level. Not saying he deserves anything but every time I see a Giant highlight it seems like it's Plex scoring a touchdown.
