Voter intimidation dates back to Caeser's era and it's a shame to see it occur so blatantly.

This was a great speech by Obama both verbally and spiritually. There have been some campaign topics that were not available to Obama because the moment was wrong. He really hadn't discussed his thoughts or feelings about race and black cynicism. His pastor's comments gave him that venue and he capitalized.

This is a concession to their previous sentiments. I like the idea if Obama is on top. That eliminates the concept of Obama getting assassinated. Because they will definitely try to pop Hillary and the new president will be the Speaker of the House Pelosi. The haters of Obama will hate his replacements even more.

What I'm feeling right now

This is what Obama represents. This is what his war cry should be about. This is the change he is referring to.

Super Tuesday is over and the dust is starting to settle. The results are interesting but as expected. The biggest surprise on the Republican side is the fact that Huckabee won quite a few more states than the zero predicted for him. This happened because some of the evangelicals decided to vote according to their faith and Huckabee is the only Christian. The GOP vote is a winner take all format, so winning those states hamstrung Romney. Huckabee stole more of Romney's votes than McCain's and put the latter on the stage of victory. Honestly, McCain's my man. I have figured out why. He is a liberal conservative such as myself as mentioned in the Black Republican article from before.

Clinton and Obama are basically tied. Hillary won the larger and coastal states, while Barack's vote came from the smaller middle states. The story can be spun many ways stating both sides claimed victory. Using football philosophies, it would seem that the longer Obama is in the race, the greater chance for victory. This is true for all underdogs. A sense in hope can generate within the perceived lesser that is many times more powerful than the greater. Obama is the underdog in this situation. I'm waiting for the Al Gore hammer to drop.

Super Fat Tuesday

Today is the most important day politically in quite a long time.
The outcome of today's vote actually mean something and the world can be impacted.

Today is also Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday, meaning the biggest party in the country is taking place in New Orleans. Mardi Gras is important because it's part of the healing process. The ghost of Katrina still impacts the city and the power of Mardi Gras and the Jazz Festival is the only thing that can repel her.

Basically almost one half of the delegates are available in today's election, with California leading the way in terms of total delegates. Today can decide who are next president will be. Obama gives the most hope, while Hillary lend stability. I guess the same thing can be said about Romney and McCain respectively.

You heard it here first

Our purpose here many times is to explain the truth. Explanation is needed because telling it is simply not enough. Truth persuasion is needed to remove all preconceived notions.

There are two major articles addressing what we discussed HERE! regarding how the African American vote is split between Hillary and Barack. As you can see, BLOOMBERG was in agreement with the OurW Obama philosophy.

The key is this. Black political figures have been tied to Hillary because they thought she was a lock to win. Political figures have to follow the winner because they will need favors once they get elected. If they oppose the winner early on, the newly elected President will not help them later.

They have been bound to Hillary for this reason. If Obama generates enough momentum they will swing his direction which will shift some of the black vote as well. We'll have to watch it play out.

Rudi has a plan

A few days ago I mentioned that Rudi was not in the hunt and being arrogant. I am so wrong. Rudi has a plan. In this era of cost cutting and low budgets a new technique has emerged. I call it profound targeting. Instead of spending time in the areas of least impact, he is focusing all of his energy on Florida. Florida's delegate count equals about 85% percent of the votes in the other states combined

Based upon that, why even bother with Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina. Due to Florida's delegate count, a decisive victory in Republican voting Florida could propel Rudy into first place a week before Super Tuesday.

The day is labeled as such because something like 1700 votes can be had then and the first candidate to reach 2025 wins it all. If you take the few scrap votes Rudi has received so far and combine that with a dominant display in Florida, he can pretty jump in the race two weeks late and still end up in a dominate position after February 5th.

I like the strategy. It's high risk high reward. It may backfire but at the same time it might kick his race to high gear like using Nitro.

Obama is down with JayZ and Kanye

Obama has apparently met with two important figures in hip hop music. I think he has taken a far different approach than many of the other African Americans in politics. Jesse Jackson and Mr Sharpton came from the church and begun their campaign shrouded in blackness. Many of them built their campaign momentum at activities targeting other African Americans.

This can sometime scare other groups away especially the conservatives. Barack has not done that. He has not even targeted us. The fact that he met with JayZ and Kanye to target youth may mean that is going to start spending some time in the churches because the black evangelicals is where the mature votes come from. He has had success without relying on black people. There is chance that he may start doing some damage once he get into areas of higher black populace. I think he can flank the rest of the candidates like William Wallace did in Braveheart. That was the best flank demonstration in war based theatrical history.

African Americans can give him a boost because they are currently splitting the vote 50/50 between he and Hillary. We like the Clintons because they have demonstrated their concern for the community via Bill's policies. Obama is not the clear cut leader in the African American community. Not yet anyway.

Al Gore still makes the best running mate even though Mr. Kerry just cosigned.

We have not seen Mr. Giuliani at all. Either he is extremely arrogant and does not feel he needs to try yet, or he is done. I think it's the latter personally. The 911 boat just lost its steam.

I Got a Poll that you can Survey

Hillary's teary eyed moment did not spell doom for the Clinton campaign. This makes for a more spicy future in terms of the election. It would have been boring if Obama were to run away with such as the polls were stating. Polls and surveys are interesting and entertaining, but never accurate when dealing with humans. People, unlike damn near everything else, can change their mind. In politics, the polls can only be 50% accurate because something could happen between the poll and the actual vote which may cause the voter to go the other way. A brilliant man once said this about data and surveys, "Polls and Surveys are like a bikini, what they reveal is interesting, but what they cover up is vital". Meaning that data can be used to create any story, even when the story is not the truth.

Every breath you take

Have you watched CNN lately? They have changed their format. I think the blogs have changed the way big media reports the news. At first the impact was only felt by web based news, but it now seems like the television news is reporting the same sensationalized way as the web. The problem is that they are not natural and remind one of their old relative trying to dance to a modern song(like Norv yesterday).

They are making such a big deal about Iowa that it's annoying. Hilary didn't cry. She got a little emotional but it was good thing and not something to blow out or proportion. The media is trying to paint a picture that she is desperate and are trying to betray an misstep that she makes. Based upon CNN, all of America's race problems are solved because Iowa has voted for Obama. Obama is half white and non African American. If America can't find something in common with him, they are stupid.
