The Wing T

As you know Sir Thomas, I am a disciple of the Wing T. That is my theme offense and I seek it in all football. I want to send shouts out to Miami for out scheming Belichek.

They removed football fundamentals and created an even playing field. It was a pleausre and joy to see Ricky running bye as the Wing. Quite honestly, that offense is a perfect way to utilize two backs.

With a healthy Vince Young, Tennessee can do that a few times with Chris Johnson running by. Imagine him with a head start around the corner.

Shouts out to Jason Campbell. The media is hard on black quarterbacks and he shut them the f up by solid gameplay. Over 70% is Steve Youngish, and he has outplayed Hassleback at this stage in the offense.

Remember that Hasslbeback was so bad that they had Trent Dilfer in as their starter. Did you get Cube yet?
War Ed Hochuli!

Your draft

How do you feel about it?
Don't give up on the blog. You are an early adopter and need to weather the storm. We can shift focus and talk about fatherhood. I guarantee there is more money on the line that way.

I wanted to draft Ricky Williams. I may trade for him.

Colt Brennan is ok. I think can be above average for the long haul.

Cube's new album drops tomorrow. It may be a classic!

Is China the greatest country in the world now?
Seriously!

Can't knock the Dan hustle

The Redskins have had their best offseason in like 10 years. I can understand the rationale behind each and every thing that they have done. Instead of letting Erasmus James hit the waiver wire, they went and traded for him before the official release. This ensured the skins could get him. A seventh round pick may not even make the team, so to get him with that pick for only a million per year is brilliant. Even if he knee is only at 85 percent. He is more ready to play than any rookie and there no pressure for him to learn. The key factor is that the Skins D-line coach was Erasmus James' coach in college. Redskins fixed their D-line issues while still getting 2 receivers and the best tight end. All Good this time around by Daniel Snyder.

Smoots that old?

During their last playoff game he did that? Crazy.

I had no idea Smoot played with Jay Schroeder.

Some G-ish

Fred Smoot is my probably my 2nd favorite Skin behing Portis and the late S. Taylor.
He told the trainers to get him some water and then bounced back to the field during a playoff game.

CB Fred Smoot suffered severe cramps and began throwing up blood.. The team carted him into the locker room where they hooked him up to IV's.. While watching the fourth quarter and seeing his team possibly blow another late lead, Smoot asked the trainers to go get him something, when they left the room, he ripped the IV's out of his arm and ran back out onto the field and told Gregg Williams he was playing..

Dexter Manley is comedy

They have some of his old quotes posted. He was probably as crazy as Haley.
For real!

LINK
On accusations he spit on Saints tackle Jim Dombrowski, November, 1988: "I'm allergic to holding, so I sneezed . . . If he thought I spit, I really want to apologize. I was sneezing; perhaps I sneezed in his face. We were talking. He'd been grabbling me all day, and it was just one of those things. Why should I get fined? This guy hit me. If I sneezed, I sneezed. It's his word against mine . . . Besides, I don't know if there's a spitting rule. If there was, I'd have known about it. I don't think there's a no-sneeze rule. Anyway, I wouldn't flagrantly spit on someone. I'm a mortgage banker, and do bankers spit? No."

Danny's new Toy

Have you seen the Redskins?

They traced a 1, 3 and a 5 for three 2nd rounders. They got the guy they wanted in the first in the 2nd and got Fred and Malcolm for a 3rd and 5th respectively. Now Dan is swapping a lot of players. He found a new toy to play with and it's called the draft. The Redskins will be big players in the draft going forward.

Growth and evolution!

Danny is on the Slunder

The Redksins have been rogue right before the draft. They have been shopping their 1st round pick for a receiver. I found out that they also offered a similar package for Anquan Boldin. Slunder bye the way means way more stealth like than plain old under.

In Ocho we trust

I'm not mad at Ocho for turning on Marvin. Rosenhaus and Danny have a great relationship and have shown the ability to get deals done. I think this will make it easy for them to go after Chad and Lance. I am not investing any hope in Chad and will instead will push a Bernard Berrian deal. He is a great vertical threat and is tall, which are both good for Campbell. They must replace Lloyd.

Daniel Snyder is the new Head Coach for the Skins

Washington Redskins just hired Jim Zorn to be there head coach. Before discussing Zorn I must make a quick point. Daniel Snyder is now the actual head coach. He did a great job of putting together an excellent coaching staff. He interviewed all of candidates and learned what was needed to coach(be a CEO/Politician).

He gave Zorn the title but don't fool yourself. Zorn's top priority will be Jason Cambpell. They are investing the whole franchise and infrastructure in young Jason. All in baby! It's been proven over time that head coaches don't have the time to spend on a young QB. This is true, but offensive coordinators(in terms of responsibilities not the title) do have the time.

He may be a head coach in title, but in reality he is a QB developing offensive coordinator in terms of roles and responsibilities. Since he was a QB, he already knows how to manage the game. He will take care of that for Coach Daniel. This is like Ownership 2.0(interactive) style. Jerry Jones is like ownership version 1.5.

Basketball players make an easy transition into coaching, why can't football players. It's not rocket science. The reason this is taboo is because it violates the "put your time in" concept even though it truly doesn't matter.

This may seem like a stretch to make the jump from a position coach to head coach. I would normally agree, but I truly believe that life and situational experience is more important that specific job experience. Zorn is a top notch world class football coach, and if he has the political abilities then he is qualified.

Mike Tomlin was a hell of a coach and was a natural politician who understands organizational structure. Even if Zorn isn't a natural but can grasp what's required from a leadership standpoint, I'm ok with that. I think this is very refreshing and Jim Zorn may be like Joe Gibbs(1st term) reincarnate. I prefer him to everyone else, even Mooch.

I'm watching Mo Betta Blues. This may be the only movie with both Wesley and Denzel.

Moochie as the new Redskin Coach- West Coast instantiation in DC

Steve Mariucci's name has surfaced in the Redskin's coaching search.
The new OC is a West Coast style guy. I like him more than Fassell and Blache is fiery enough to make up for Steve's sensitivity. Blache is more than capable to run the defense and so is the DB coach Jerry Gray, so the they will be fine on defense.
Maybe Jason learned the West Coast already. There is a slight chance Al Borges ran it when he was Auburn. West Coast forces him to scramble more and that is a good thing. Don't doubt Daniel quite yet.

The key factor is that Blache and Moochie have worked together already!!!!!

The Skins game

Who wrote that about Dan?
The Redskins set themselves down a path of disarray.
The worst thing that could have happened was a another system for Jason Campbell. The potential best thing that could have happened to him is a real QB coach that can teach him. Because he has seen so many systems, and good QB coach can help him memory map and lead him to elite status quickly. The defensive system will most likely be the same so the transition may not be as drastic as we may think. What's up with your photos? How are you attaching them? Start off with larger or higher quality photos and I think the blurriness will lessen. Gregg Williams should have left earlier for a head job. He made a corporate America mistake. Take any opportunity you can because your company doesn't care about you. He forgot that rule.

Predictions, Rudi, Skins and more...

I recently read and figured out the same thing regarding Rudi's strategy. I guess i just never knew a whole lot about how this primary thing worked. it is strange. but i guess it will be getting interesting over the next few weeks.

I saw today that the Danny is very interested in Jim Mora Jr. he has brought in nothing but D coordinators but i have to agree with you. how does GW not get it?

Pack will take care of the G-Men. 3 road games in a row in the playoffs? I don't see that happening. Plus doesnt it seem like the Farve to Super Bowl after nearly being ran out of town scenario seem about right? hopefully it snows again so we can watch another game as cool as last week's.

question for the audience and you- how do you exactly get arms that look like those of the entire Giants D line?

Bolts-Pats

despite injuries- cause everyone is beat up this time of year- I think the Bolts have a legit shot. the 2 Shauns need to have HUGE games and obviously disrupt Brady. if the Freak (#31) can handle Mr Moss enough to prevent huge plays and LT is involved in the game early both running and i think more importantly catching the ball this could be a Bolts victory.

even though Farve vs Brady and 18-0 Pats is a sexier matchup for the Superbowl we must remember one thing- this is NOT the NBA

Packers over Giants with a lot of scoring

Bolts over Pats in a close game determined by a Brady interception

A Rolling Stone Gathers no Moss

I hope Randy is innocent. He came to far to get tripped up right before he greatest moment. Based upon the reports, I think she was shady and was potentially extorting him. Hopefully the truth will come out and in the right direction.

Have you noticed that the Redskins are interviewing all defensive coordinators? I don't think this is a coincidence. Snyder knows that Saunders won't leave if he is not named head coach. Saunders is needed to maintain Jason Campbell's development. Gregg Williams will attempt to get a head coaching job if the Washington job is not handed to him.

Snyder is interviewing the most capable candidates that would still keep the team intact. Having said that, he just interviewed the brutha and satisfied the Rooney rule. I expect Gregg Williams to get the job.

Playoff thoughts/ Faith and Football

Football equals life to some people. Football is full of many cliches. In reality though, those phrases are dual use. They apply to a football situation as well as real life. For the past few weeks I've been on a "never give up" campaign. I've been using football as my coping mechanism. I can remember all the times in football that my body wanted to give up but my mind wouldn't let it. I've been applying the same thoughts that allowed me to get through those moments to my current situation. I read this great article about how Joe Gibbs led his team back from nowhere into the playoffs. The article is about how they hit rock bottom this season and how Joe Gibbs forced the recovery. My "A setback is a setup for a comeback" theory was validated. LINK!

Football is a way of life and not just a game.

Redskins gave it all they had. For a short time in the 3rd quarter, I got to see Sean Taylor again. He channeled his spirit through the young and mighty Laron Landry to give the Skins a chance to win. Those two plays reminded me of Sean. In the end, Seattle's playoff level defense combined with the crowd noise was too much for the depleted yet spirited Redskins.

Jacksonville beat Pittsburgh as we had all discussed. No further comments are necessary. Read the blog if you need more information.

We all wanted Tampa Bay to win. New York was a better team that played better. Too much more physically and just as fast. They didn't disrupt Eli enough to beat NY.

Norv Turner ball at it finest. He did what Marty could not ever do. He was worth the hire even if he loses from here on out. He took them further than they have been since 1994. Leave Norv alone. Tennessee needs another receiver, a healthy Young, Pacman and they will be cool. They can be great next year.

Hail to the Redskins

Clinton Portis is hilarious. He claims the Redskin's latest run is the due to Santana Moss getting clipped.
The Redskins can win if they shut down Shaun.

Justified

The Sean Taylor situation has concluded in my opinion.
http://ourw.blogspot.com/2007/11/big-media-blew-it.html

He has been vindicated. Big Media blew it and judged incorrectly.
There are so many articles about the positives of Sean.
They feel guilty.

Big 10 football should be a lot better. There has been a lack of playmakers in the league and they were playing big business style of football. It's time to play google style and modernize. Rich and Ron will take it further and do what the Florida schools did to innovate football in the 90's.

What are you favorite sites and what not? We need to make this spot contain all places you would visit on the web in a day. I solved the analytics issue and we should now be able to get data. We can then take marketing steps after that.

Have fun and do something I'd do and we should be able to do something major here once you're back.

I'm not done with this

I'm still mad about this whole ordeal. I have had damn near a bottle of vino and had to get back to this. I watched the press conference with Gibbs and Snyder. I was glad to hear that Joe said that he wanted everyone to know first and foremost that Sean spent a lot of time with the team chaplain the last two years as well as had attended every chapel session. He said Sean had relationship with the Lord and has gone home. I find peace in that. He went to better place. I'm really glad the white people spoke so highly of him. Once one says something positive about a brotha it becomes magically easier for others to recognize. The one who first speaks out usually someone more special than not. You actually play that role for me(which I appreciate by the way), kinda like my white talisman taking me accross the lake.

Clinton Portis said this in this article. He will probably get about 46 carries this week by the way just for yo ass Fat Polz.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7490604

"You think back to how much heat he took for everything," running back Clinton Portis said. "For missing camp, for not being around for this or that, for missing the rookie symposium. You come to the realization that all of that means nothing."

Listen to what Tomlin said.
http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d804976d8

It's neat to see that once Joe Gibbs said that, the black boilerplate started disappearing. He started to receive Jared Allen level treatment instead(Sorry, I had to mention that!) You would hope that America took this opportunity to look into the black on black crime issue. The sad part is that Washington DC is the death capital(highest murder rate) as well as America's epicenter.

Here's another point for you to think about. How many white individuals have been snatched away at their prime besides Elvis and James Dean? Ooh yeah, and dude from the Doors and that broad with the eating disorder. How many bruhs have had a career ended, a threatening court case, or murdered around their prime. It really bothers me that black people don't reach their potential as often. Actually, black people rarely get to reach their potential besides pro athletes and Denzel. Black people don't get put in positions in corporate America beyond our skill set ever. White people do, but black people have to be extra qualified. I don't know if I would have gotten a job in engineering if I didn't play football. Do you know how hard it was to get through that stuff. Now I may have made it seem not that difficult, but in reality that ish(Non curse-word version of sh^t for future reference) damn near defeated me. I had to do more to be average. That is where Donovan's comments came from bye the way. All of our parents taught us that. So it really hurts me personally when I see one that can reach maximum efficiency in their craft get defeated because I guarantee I'll never reach mine. The reason why I don't give up on some so called bad people is because I believe in growth and learning. A leopard can't change it stripes, but it can grow older and wiser and hunt more effectively. People don't change, but they can grow and learn under the right circumstances. Trotter is a family of teachers and educators. I believe in growth, learning and the generation of opportunity. If those don't exist then neither does the camp. This is why I am pissed off because death was required for this to become known. Think of all of the other aspects that can be learned but won't be until someone else dies.

Stuff

This article sums up my statement right now.
It's not a good time for black people right now.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hill/071127

What pisses me off is the boilerplate they give Taylor.
Every time they mention something about him, they reference his prior indescretions.

Do they do this to white players too? I'm serious. Same story for TO, Moss, Vick, Ricky. They attach a boilerplate negative stigma to the person every time they mention them.

The economy is garbage and poor people typically start to act up. The next 5 years are going to be worse.

Here's one for you. Why is the Alameda County Sales Tax 8.75 percent. That is the poorest county in Northern California. That is infrastructure racism. Sales Tax is the most unfair tax, but it's funny who has to pay the most. The region with the lowest income makes perfect sense.

Young Black Males are still an endangered species. They have too look out for rich white people, old black people, and poor young black people. That is a triple threat. The children of the crack epidemic have grown up and they have plenty of havoc to wreak in the near future.

At least he played the last play like his last, a 15 yard personal foul facemask call.

RIP Mr. Taylor
