Voter Intimidation

This is the sad part of voting.
I would assume that the most of the people being harassed are democrats.
Awful!

"We are learning of private investigators threatening Latino voters in New Mexico, deceptive flyers sent to students in Virginia, and politically-motivated police investigations of new voters in Ohio," Slater said. "These activities are just the latest tactics in what has been a decade-long partisan strategy to limit registration and voting."

Voter intimidation dates back to Caeser's era and it's a shame to see it occur so blatantly.

More Like Western Illinois...........

In the 4th and the scrubs are coming in to take the final beating.

Don't worry. Obama, Black White or Martian will be marching into the office like Brian Knuckles into our endzone.

Curious though what specifics do you think he brings to the table to get your vote. Besides him being 1 step closer to Ocho Cinco being in office.

Like leading Idaho State 27-0 in the first

This is how I feel about the election right now.
This article sums my sentiment up perfectly.
I want him to win, yet am not sure America will allow it.
I can relate to all the things below. We'll see though.

"I'm about half and half right now that he'll win," said Shields, an 18-year-old university student and Obama supporter at a union-sponsored candidate forum in Cincinnati.

"Now when November comes and we're almost there, then I'll believe. Right now, I just have my fingers crossed."

Baptist preacher and Obama backer Brenda Girton-Mitchell, 60, said she had enough faith "in the human psyche" to believe that Obama would prevail over McCain.

But she echoes blacks across the country when she notes that polls have fooled them before, citing the famous case of Tom Bradley, an African American who narrowly lost the 1982 California governor's election despite leading in polls.

The CampTrotter state of Mind

The internet was the new generation of the Communications Utility Infrastructure.

The near future will define (or start to define) the next generation Power Utility Infrastructure, only to be followed by the new generation Transportation Utility Infrastructure 7 years later.

Industrial revolutions can occur when technology impacts utilities as opposed to products because all governments require utilities.

The next US President can make the biggest global impact by disrupting oil based energy because enough rich people got burned to finally enable the change.

In the Bailout package, I would bet most corporate tax incentives have to do with Energy. It is the one compromise that both democrats and replublicans can agree.

Tax incentives for the republicans and green energy for the democrats!

They can cooperate together without violating their parties’ perceptions.

I think new energy philosophy and infrastructure will ease the financial burden of transportation investment.

Something like Wireless power for vehicles would easier to develop once the Power aspect is addressed. I think both generation and transmission must be developed with a system mentality and created cohesively.

Google is almost done with Telecom once the cloud is established. They can then focus on energy because a lot of power will be needed if say 30% of the world’s computer activity goes to the clouds.

They will need to create their own solution(like their solar setup) for long term scalable growth without dealing with PG&E’s lobbyists.

It's the Newest World Order!
